Geosystems Hellas a sponsor and participant in 2024 CIPA Summer School

GeoSystems Hellas S.A. had the pleasure to contribute, both as a sponsor and as a participant, in the 2024 CIPA Summer School, held in Rhodes, Greece, from May 19th to May 25th.

GSH participated in the field of 3D documentation of cultural heritage, with Anastasia Anastasiou sharing her expertise and completing one more CIPA Summer School. Anastasia Anastasiou, Geoinformatics Engineer, Photogrammetry Expert, served as an instructor at this event, bringing her expertise in photogrammetry and laser scanning to guide and mentor the participants. Additionally, she presented an overview of the Triquetra project, in which GeoSystems Hellas participates as a key partner.

CIPA Summer School, is an annual event and acts as an important platform for advancing knowledge and expertise in the preservation of cultural heritage through innovative 3D documentation techniques. Each year, the summer school gathers MSc and PhD students, archaeologists, architects, restorers, conservationists, geomatic engineers and other specialists to learn and apply the latest in photogrammetry, laser scanning, and surveying.
