[GSH] team is currently involved in the ESA project BLENDED, Synergetic use of Blockchain and Deep Learning for Space Data : BLENDED focuses upon Urban Expansion monitoring for three European Cities with the usage of timeseries Multispectral and SAR data in a three-decade lifespan. Deep Learning Networks are deployed for timeseries change detection analysis, while all platform data transfer and processes are implemented via a blockchain de-centralized manner.

The role of GSH is to provide expertise for the EO selection, the data preprocessing steps as well as to define and create reliable Ground Truth data for the Deep Learning validation purposes.
