Geosystems Hellas participated in the Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event (JURSE), 2023
The “Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event (JURSE) 2023”, organized by the Remote Sensing Laboratory of FORTH, took place from 16 to 19 May in Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
Geosystems Hellas participated in the Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event (JURSE) in collaboration with the Hellenic Association of Space Technology & Applications Industries – EVIDITE with a booth in the conference area of the event.
A Geosystems Hellas specialist welcomed the participants by demonstrating the advanced solutions it has developed in the field of earth observation to provide high-quality services, to create and technically support applications covering a wide range, but also answered any of their questions. In addition, in a special session with the title “Earth Observation for integrated risk assessment, urban adaptation towards Climate Change and Sustainable Urban Development” the audience was introduced to the goals and objectives of the Harmonia Project during the event.
Participants at the event got the opportunity to learn about new innovative approaches and technology tools for exploring many elements of the urban environment using orbital and aerial remote sensing data.
