Athens, Greece – Geosystems Hellas, a prominent leader in remote sensing technology, is pleased to announce its successful participation in the “Smart Innovation Symposium #3: Research and Innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises.” This symposium was held in conjunction with the RETASTE: Rethink Food Resources, Losses, and Waste Third International Conference 2023 at Harokopeion University in Athens on September 29, 2023.

Through the presentation of our colleague Anna Papadima, our R&D project, “POTATO2UP,” received notable attention for its focus on enhancing organic potato cultivation practices to elevate production quality and disease resistance. We are grateful for the interest from those who sought deeper insights into this groundbreaking project.

The symposium served as a valuable forum for collaboration and the exchange of knowledge among experts, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives involved in various aspects of food production, distribution, consumption, and waste management. Geosystems Hellas was honored to contribute to this critical dialogue, and we express our gratitude to all attendees for their active and insightful participation.
